About Me
I got into the journalism business because my childhood passions were sports and written words. I never grew out of those passions, and during my career, they have matured into a love of all storytelling.
Any subject. Any medium.

Previous work
I’ve had bylines in Esquire, the Philadelphia Inquirer and other publications, both print and web, around the country. In 2017, I published a narrative nonfiction book about organic farmers who exchange labor for meals and housing rather than money. I’ve covered almost every level of sports—up to NBA, NFL, Olympic qualifying—big city and small town politics, economic development, music, food, travel, obituaries… you name it, I’ve likely been there with a notepad and a camera. And I’ve won awards for sports writing, investigative journalism, government reporting and newspaper design.
Recently
In August, I finished my master’s degree at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism. While there, I produced, filmed, wrote and edited two short documentaries, one about the changing food economy in Argentina and the other about the struggles of working from home during the pandemic. I created and anchored sports TV segments, studied under accomplished professors, and continued to follow those sports and writing passions that got me into journalism. I'm so excited to get back into the industry I love.
